Event date & Time:
May 25, 11am to 6pm
It’s that time of year again! Spring is…well springing… (it certainly has not yet sprung…come on spring, you can do it!)
In July 2017 I lost my husband to suicide. He was a millwright and could fix or build anything. The day to day running of the farm is a very manageable process and I have wonderful staff that help support the daily tasks. Twice a year we do a farm cleanup day, where we gather some amazing people of all ages, abilities and skill levels to tackle some of the many farm projects to prepare for the upcoming warm season. Those that have helped in the past….Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You helped make life much easier to manage at the farm.
As you know, the work is never done and this year, and this year there is plenty of branches down from our crazy wind storms (which will be great for the bon fire). There is everything from rock picking, fence repair, weed eating, tree trimming, painting, gardening, and soo much more.
If you can spare some of your time or expertise to help our family, it would be greatly appreciated.
This is a family friendly event. Yes, we are happy to put your kids to work also…and they can visit with the goats, chickens, horse, turkeys, kittens, dogs, bunnies…lol. Plenty to do and see for them.
The time frame is open…come when you can stay as long as you can.
If you are not available on this day and still want to help. Message me or post below and we can set up another time.
I will be putting on a BBQ Dinner to feed everyone that comes out to help. Drinks and snacks will be available during the day.
Thank you everyone for holding our family in your thoughts and hearts, life has been easier with all of your support. Your kindness has helped us through this time.
You are all amazing
